So for those of you that know me well, you know I'm from the Big Rapids area. Well I was pretty excited when Jenn Badalamenti said she needed me to second shoot for a wedding right in my home town! I hate to say it but its been at least four years since I have even been through there so I was pretty excited to see all the change. Kasey and James were are lovely bride and groom, they were great to shoot and were even more fun just to be around! The whole day turned out to be great....even the weather, which was a good thing considering it was a beautiful outdoor wedding next to Hemlock Park. Being from the area also helped with finding different locations to shoot at. As with most the wedding I do with Jenn, I spent the morning/afternoon with the guys so the first place I took them to was River Rock...aka the launch for the sawmill tubing. It was a pretty perfect location so I couldn't help but ask Jenn to convince the bride and groom to stop back out there for a couple shots before the reception. After a couple other stops by the bridal party to celebrate we were off to the reception. The only thing I would change about the day..... learning where all the local business moved to before I told the limo driver he could follow me, I never thought a city could change so much in four years!
Enjoy the preview!

Wow ! You do really cool and original wedding pictures. I loved that one with the groom and the best men peeing ;). That was hilarious. Whenever I get married, if you are still doing photography, it would be cool if you could take the pictures ( btw i'm like 19 years old lol...might take a while!)
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I think your pictures are beautiful and charming.
