favorite toys

My kids are great and I love them to death but I've always wondered why children always pick the loudest toys to be their favorites. We have to keep a bag of these little noise makers in the House at all times for my two year old! She loves them! I could help but take a picture to throw in her baby book.

Getting behind

So I have been getting extremely behind with my updating lately and I'm sorry but I'm justifying it because of all the new equipment I've been getting over the past month. Lets just say, I'm working with a whole new studio this summer! Of course I'm very excited to finally have some really great stuff to work with but I'm also spending most of my time getting used to all this new stuff. I promise in the next few weeks I'll try and post some new things so you can see my progress. I also am trying to spend as much time with the girls before wedding season starts back up. This year is going to be pretty crazy but I'm excited to see how it all turns out. Business is really picking up for me as well as some of my colleagues that I still shoot with so I'll have plenty of fun new post coming up! Until then wish me luck!

New Logo!

So to keep going with the new look, I've decided to go with this logo for the business. I'm quite pleased with it! Let me know what you all think.

First trip to the beach

Last week the girls and I had to get out and enjoy the weather so we took a trip to the beach. Now being MI it obviously wasn't that warm but the girls still managed to try and run into the water once or twice! It was so nice to get outside and have a chance to play with some of my new lenses! Hopefully we'll get to see some more springtime weather soon.

I am running this special because our military members sacrifice so much for us, and miss out on so many moments with their families just to keep us safe. No thank you could be great enough to express my gratitude to them. But to show my appreciation, any immediate family members of military personnel are welcome to do a shoot with me for 50% off sitting fee's and 25% off prints. I am also offering a complimentary session with the military personnel and his/her family to do before deployment. You will receive a free 8x10 to keep at home, and a 4x6 or 5x7 for them to keep close on their journey's. You may use this session in any location you like. If your Husband/wife is already deployed you can also consider having me come to the airport with you to welcome them home. Any prints ordered outside of the package prints will also be 25% off.

For all you wonderful, hard-working moms! Take a day and get together with all the moms in your support group and document how special you are and those little ones that make you who you are!

What you get: I will do shots of each one of you and your kids and then some of each child. Each mom receives a free 8x10 and 2 -5x7's of any one image of you and your kids, also you will received 10% of all prints ordered.

The cost: is $45 per group. You can invite as many Moms as you would like. For each 5 moms you get to come you get another 5% off prints.

Website Coming Soon!

Hey everyone, here's the big news for today. The website will be up and running in about two weeks! That's the goal for now. I 've spent several weeks going through an insane amount of pictures from everything I've shot to put onto the website. Now its just a matter of getting it all on there. Keep your fingers crossed! No more myspace site! Ofcourse I'll keep doing the blog, but I just wanted everyone to know that I'll actaully be getting a site up.
