Murder Mystery

I had the opportunity to shoot a something a little different the other day so of course I was super excited! I will be the first to vouge that nobody can throw a party like Kim throws party. She was throwing a surprise birthday party for her sister in law Leeann. ( 50's Murder Mystery style!) I have never seen so many people dress up at a party in my life. The theme was only the beginning, she had much more wonderful details in store for Leeann that night!

As people arrived the had to choose their character for the night.

Leeann had no idea that the friends and family that she called to get together for dinner had plans of their own....Surprise!

They even had an outfit ready for her when she got there.

Although I'm not sure how this all started but they had previous plans get their ears pierced so they brought Merle Normans to the party!

The best details of the night was the wonderful gifts that Leeann received. Instead of everyone getting her something different, they all got her a charm that reminded them of her. Each person got up and explained why the picked that charm.

I had to get some shots of Leeann's adorable shoes! Aren't these great!

Then during dinner a murder occurred!

Everyone scrambled to collect evidence and find out who killed the movie star....

Of course accusations were made....

The vote was tallied on who they all thought was the killer....
Surprise not a single person guessed that the band manager did it...at least I think it was the band manager???

No drama comes without awards!

The details of even the jewelry was amazing!

Happy Birthday Leeann, it was a pleasure being there to celebrate with you!

Some luck of the Irish!

After a long and hard deliberation about the pros and cons of taking off on a spur of the minute vacation (which I NEVER do, but really should) I did it! I booked a plan ticket and am off on my first adventure over seas. I know many would say I'm sheltered, but I blame it on the lack of a current passport. I couldn't believe my fortune by scoring some amazingly cheap plane tickets and the even better fortune of having family there that are willing to take time off to show some of the amazing sites Ireland has to offer. So in only a few short weeks I will be packing my bag, throwing on my rain coat with an umbrella in hand I'll be heading to Eire! I promise I will come back for everyone's wedding refreshed and ready to rock! Don't worry I will be posting lots of picture goodness from this trip!

Since I haven't had the chance to take my own pictures I borred these from a travel website, I couldn't leave you without some yummy pics!
